Master of fine arts
The Master in Illustration and Fine Arts aims to train artists and professionals so that they may exercise their profession in the different areas of illustrated imagery (illustration of books, novels and comics, press illustration, cartoons, digital imagery, websites…) or visual arts (drawing, painting, photography, video, lithography, engraving, 3D installation…)
This course lasts 4 years and is built around the core Illustration / Fine Arts modules that focus on artistic culture and reflection, on learning about reality representation techniques (academic drawing, painting, live model drawing, figure representation, motion study…), as well as on the development of imagination and sensitivity. On top of this, workshops specialising in illustration (graphic design, comics, press illustration, animation, object-books, shaping…) and in visual arts, as well as computer graphics modules complement the course on a professional level.
By equivalence, at the end of their degree, students will obtain a Master in Illustration or Fine Arts, accredited as a European Master’s by the European Accreditation Board of Higher Education Schools (E.A.B.H.E.S.).
