The Master in Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage trains students to become conservator-restorers of art pieces, specialized in painting painting, paper - graphic arts and ceramics - archaeology.

It follows the Bachelor in Cultural Heritage Preservation and enables students to become cultural heritage conservators-restorers, able to manage entire restoration projects.

 

PROGRAM +

The Master in conservation-restoration of cultural heritage is based on 6 semesters and 48 weeks of internships including 12 weeks abroad.

Educational content is subject to changes as a result of school organizational requirements, and, or, implementation of State guidelines.

ADMISSION PROCESS +

Admission is based on an interview and the presentation of the applicant’s portfolio.

Only students who have obtained 180 ECTS credits in the field of cultural heritage preservation (painting, paper, and ceramics) may be admitted.

ACCREDITATIONS +

As per the 11 January 2012 Ministerial Decree, the title of conservator-restorer of cultural heritage is registered as Level II under the National Directory of Professional Certification. This certification is obtained at the end of semester 10. It is followed at the end of semester 12 by the Master degree obtained at the end of semester 12 corresponding to the level 7 of the European framework.

 

The Master in Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage is also certified as a European Master’s degree by the European Accreditation Board of Higher Education.

 

Students are eligible for ERASMUS and other bilateral exchange programs.
