The Bachelor in Cultural Heritage Preservation provides an intensive training with two main purposes:
  • Preparing students for entry into the Master in Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage course (painting, paper/graphic arts, ceramics/archaeology options) or the Master in Art Expertise & Art Market course.

  • Training students so that they may have access to careers in the field of arts and crafting: preventive conservationist, antiques dealer, collection manager, bookbinder, gilder, etc.

The main goal of this course is for students to learn the basics of conservation-restoration so that they may look at items of cultural interest with a clear understanding of issues related to the recovery and conservation of works of art, whilst following fundamental ethical principles.

To become a conservator-restorer, students must complete the Master in Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage.
